The Challenge
Original pressure-treated deck from 2001 — rotting boards, failing posts, railing wobble. County required a permit for any deck replacement over 200 sq ft.
Our Approach
Full tear-out and haul-away of old deck. Rebuilt with Trex Transcend in Gravel Path color, new footings to current code, cable railing system, built-in bench with storage, and two-level landing with steps.
The Outcome
Passed county inspection first visit. Composite deck rated for 25 years with zero maintenance. The built-in bench freed up floor space they didn't know they were missing.
This deck replacement was completed in Ashburn, VA — Belmont Greene. P&L Outdoor Solutions serves homeowners across Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley — including Leesburg, McLean, Great Falls, Sterling, and more.

“The old deck was a liability. P&L tore it out, rebuilt it to code, and passed inspection on the first visit. It looks completely different — in the best possible way.”
We compared three bids. Victor was the only one who told us upfront what the county inspection would require. The others were going to build it and figure out the permit later. That alone told us who to hire.

“Three contractors told us they couldn't handle the HOA part. Victor said "we do this all the time" — and he did. The HOA approved it in under 3 weeks. The build itself was flawless.”
“My office went from a spare room with a folding table to a space I'm actually proud to be on video calls in. Victor's team built exactly what I described and it came in under budget.”
“The utility sink alone was worth half the project cost. The folding counter, the real lighting, the storage — it's a functional room now, not a closet with machines in it. Five days, done right.”
