The Challenge
Single-car concrete driveway too narrow for SUVs — constant tire marks on the lawn edge. Needed 3ft added to each side and a connected walkway to the front door that didn't exist.
Our Approach
Formed and poured 400 sq ft of broom-finish concrete extension on both sides of existing driveway, added control joints to match existing spacing, and poured a 4ft-wide 48ft-long walkway from driveway to front door.
The Outcome
Five-day project. The driveway extension removed the lawn damage problem entirely. The walkway to the front door was something the homeowners had wanted for 8 years and never got around to — done.
This concrete driveway was completed in Herndon, VA — McNair Farms. P&L Outdoor Solutions serves homeowners across Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley — including Leesburg, Ashburn, McLean, Great Falls, and more.
