The Challenge
Single-car concrete driveway from 1982 — cracked, heaved, too narrow for modern vehicles. The homeowners wanted a two-car width in pavers that matched the colonial aesthetic of the home.
Our Approach
Removed 2,400 sq ft of old concrete, excavated to proper depth, installed 8" compacted base, and laid 2,400 sq ft of Belgard Cambridge cobble paver in a herringbone pattern. New curb apron in matching paver.
The Outcome
Colonial cobble look is perfect for the 1980s colonial. Two cars fit comfortably with room to open doors. Permit passed first inspection. Five-year base compaction warranty.
This paver driveway was completed in Herndon, VA — Dranesville District. P&L Outdoor Solutions serves homeowners across Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley — including Leesburg, Ashburn, McLean, Great Falls, and more.

“The driveway looks like it was always supposed to be there. Herringbone cobble on a colonial home — it just works. Victor got the permit, handled everything, and came in exactly on budget.”
I was dreading the permit process. Victor handled the county application, all the inspections, all of it. I didn't make a single phone call. The driveway has been flawless through two full winters.

“Five days, no drama, exactly what we needed. The walkway to the front door was a bonus we'd been ignoring for years. Victor bundled it in at a price that made total sense.”
