The Challenge
Unfinished 900 sq ft basement — young family with 3 kids wanted a dedicated play space and arts and crafts area so the main floor could stay functional for adults.
Our Approach
Framed and insulated full 900 sq ft. Built dedicated reading nook with bench seating and built-in bookcase, chalkboard wall, crafts table with storage, padded flooring in play zone, and separate toy storage closet.
The Outcome
3.5 weeks. The kids went in on move-in day and haven't come upstairs during their play hours since. The main floor is peaceful. The chalkboard wall gets redrawn every week.
