The Challenge
Side yard between house and fence had a 3-foot drop over 20 feet — a tripping hazard, eroding during rains, and completely unusable as a passthrough. HOA noted it as a drainage concern.
Our Approach
Installed single 3-ft retaining wall across the full 60-foot side yard, three steps at the house access point, and a surface drainage channel to redirect runoff to the storm drain. Leveled and sodded behind the wall.
The Outcome
Eight days. The grade concern is resolved. The side yard is now a safe, level passthrough. HOA withdrew their notation in writing. The sod behind the wall looks like it was always there.
