The Challenge
Italian-heritage homeowners who entertain constantly wanted a proper outdoor cooking space. They specified a wood-fired pizza oven and a covered dining space — not common requests that many contractors handle.
Our Approach
Built 700 sq ft travertine patio, 18x20 timber frame pergola with polycarbonate roof panels, masonry pizza oven on stone base with flue, adjacent prep counter with sink, and perimeter landscape lighting.
The Outcome
4 weeks. The pizza oven is the centerpiece — they use it every Sunday. The covered pergola with polycarbonate panels means they cook in any weather. It's become the neighborhood gathering spot.
This outdoor kitchen + pergola + patio was completed in Reston, VA — North Hills. P&L Outdoor Solutions serves homeowners across Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley — including Leesburg, Ashburn, McLean, Great Falls, and more.

“The pizza oven was non-negotiable for us. Every other contractor said it was too complicated. Victor built it like he'd done a hundred of them. It's perfect — hits 700 degrees in 45 minutes.”
Our Sunday dinners changed when this was built. Twenty people around the patio, fire going, pizza coming out every 8 minutes. Victor built the space we dreamed about and it's exactly right.

“Three contractors told us they couldn't handle the HOA part. Victor said "we do this all the time" — and he did. The HOA approved it in under 3 weeks. The build itself was flawless.”
“We use it in December with a portable heater. In summer with the ceiling fan. In the rain without getting wet. Victor built us an actual outdoor room, not just a structure.”
“We had the pool for 4 years with nothing around it. Every design firm gave us something on paper that didn't solve the grade problem. Victor stood in the yard for 20 minutes, sketched it out, and it was the first design that actually worked.”
